Guam Requirements Overview:
Guam's (Guam) CPA exam requirements are very specific relating to accounting and business courses that are required to be taken prior to sitting for the exam.
Follow each caption below to ensure that you are qualified to sit for the exam.

Education Requirements
What are the education requirements in Guam?
150 Hours Requirement
Guam does not require 150 hours to sit, only to become licensed. Unless you are a non-accounting student, then 150 credit hours is required.
Accounting Course Requirements
Guam requires 24 semester hours in upper division accounting courses.
At least 3 hours of each of the following are required:
* Auditing
* Financial Accounting
* Taxation
* Management or Cost Accounting
Business Course Requirements
Guam requires 24 semester hours excluding accounting hours. 6 in economics, 3 in finance
Business Law Requirements
Guam requires 3 semester hours of business law
Ethics Exam
No requirement, but refer to option 2 below to become licensed you will be required to take AICPA Ethics Exam.
Age & Residency Requirements
What are the age and residency requirements in Guam?
US Citizenship Requirement
You are NOT Required for Guam to be US Citizen to sit for the CPA exam
Residency Requirement
Guam does NOT require you to be a resident, employee, OR have an office in the state for you to take the CPA exam.
Minimum Age to Sit for the CPA Exam
Guam does not have a minimum age requirement to sit for the CPA exam

How much does it cost to take the CPA exam in Guam?
Guam has high standard exam fee rates. If you need to re-take a part there is a $110.00 computer testing center fee that you will have to pay.

Already Passed The CPA Exam in Guam? Here Are The CPA License Requirements
To obtain your CPA license Guam requires:
Option 1 - 150 credit hours and 1 year of work experience that is supervised by an active CPA
Option 2 - if <150 credits you are required to have 2 years of working experience in public or non that is also supervised by an active CPA.
You can also apply for an inactive license if you have less than 150 credits but you will not be able to claim yourself as a CPA.
