Education Requirements
What are the education requirements in Arkansas?
150 Hours Requirement
AR requires 150 hours to sit for the CPA exam. This can include a bachelors degree with 150 hours or an equivalent graduate degree.
NOTE: You must have all educational requirements met before sitting for the exam in AR.
Accounting Course Requirements
* AR requires 30 accounting credit hours (minimum grade of "C") for undergrad.

Business Course Requirements
To sit for the CPA exam, AR requires at least 30 hours of Business Course credit hours

Already Passed The CPA Exam in Arkansas? Here Are The CPA License Requirements
Education Requirements:
* No Additional Requirements
Experience Requirements:
* To obtain your CPA license AR requires at least 1 year of relevant accounting experience (public accounting, private, or governmental). 1 year is equivalent to 2,000 hours.
* Part time is allowed as long as 2,000 hours are obtained within 1-3 years.
* It is required your experience be verified by an active CPA licensee.
* Once you have passed the exam you will have 3 years to become licensed.
